Miss Teahupo’o is the story of a 12-year old Tahitian girl who has surfed Teahupo’o, one of the world’s most formidable waves, since she was 4-years old. Until 2022, women were banned from competing at Teahupo’o due to it being deemed “too dangerous.” In 2025 she competed at the WSL Tahiti Pro, becoming the youngest person to ever surf on the pro tour.
